It doesn't get much easier than that. Mix, add, pour, drink.

The lemon juice, I feel is important to get a brand you trust. I don't have a problem with Aldi's lemon juice brand as we feel it has a good flavor.

You certainly don't want one that you feel has a bitter taste. Since it is a major part of this homemade lemonade, you need to like your lemon juice.

    Water please

Add the water until about 1-2 inches from the top of the gallon pitcher.

A watered down lemonade is not a very tasty lemonade. That is why it is important to be aware of your pitcher size and adjust accordingly.

The pitcher size in this recipe is 1 gallon, like this pitcher.

If you use a smaller pitcher, you will want to add a little less lemon juice and sugar.

    The result

The result of mixing the lemon juice, water and sugar together is a delicious and simple lemonade recipe your family will love.

No long complicated recipe. No long and drawn out post. Simple recipe calls for simple instructions.

Add. Mix. Pour. Stir. Chill. Drink.

    As good as it gets.

    FAQ

How long should I refrigerate the lemonade for after making it?

I would let the lemonade chill for at least an hour before serving. Then you will have nice cold lemonade. You could always add ice to the glass if you are in a time crunch.

Can I add Stevia or another sweetener?

Yes you can. It will have a different taste to it and you will want to adjust the amount accordingly.
