This delicious and simple Blueberry Bread has the dough made in a bread machine but is baked in the oven. Sweet blueberries fill this bread that is perfect for breakfast, brunch or anytime!
There cannot be too many blueberry recipes in the world. Blueberries are sweet, flavorful and such a great power fruit. This Blueberry Bread has brown sugar, cinnamon and blueberries swirled in a yeast bread that is made in a bread machine.
I enjoy my bread machine to make so many bread recipes like cinnamon rolls as well as this blueberry bread. The bread can be made AND baked in a bread machine but it can also be baked in the oven, like this bread, cinnamon rolls and pizza crust.

Baking in a bread machine verses in an oven
When bread is baked in a bread machine, the machine does all the work for you. It mixes the ingredients, lets the bread rise and bakes it. Which is great and such a help on busy days.
If you want to make cinnamon rolls, that needs to be rolled out by hand. So does any filled breads like a cinnamon swirl bread or this blueberry bread.
Also, sometimes, depending on the shape of your bread machine, the bread can be shaped a little oddly. If you put the dough in a loaf pan, it is consistent all the time.
So if you are making a standard white bread, for example, you can bake the bread in the oven or the bread machine. It is really your preference. Just set the bread machine on dough to bake in a loaf pan. The bread will also need to rise before baking.
Storage
The blueberry bread can be stored in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days. Wrapping the bread with plastic wrap is ideal.
