Sizzling Bacon Ranch Corn is a side dish loved by my family. I mean, I have a family that cringes at vegetables, faints at peppers and to try something new? Well, that is just wrong, right?

Thanks to Baking With Mom, I have convinced them to try new things. Yay for the blog. ;-)

However, all but Caleb tried this new recipe and liked it. A lot. In fact, I am under strict instructions to make it again. I think the sizzling bacon ranch corn would be a great dish to take to a potluck as well.

It is a mix of flavors. I added Red Bell Pepper to the dish, though if you prefer orange or yellow, go ahead and use it. Bacon is a must and when you fry up the bacon, use a pan like this one. It is deep and you can add a lot of ingredients to the pan without overflow.

Drain off the grease, then add the corn. Only use frozen corn not canned corn. The corn will have a bite to it when you use frozen corn. My family doesn't like corn chewy so using frozen corn helps with that.

Add the peppers and ranch dip as well. Yes, I just said ranch dip. Using Hidden Valley Ranch Dip makes all the flavors pop in your mouth. Honestly, that, and the bacon, is what got my family to try this side dish in the first place. Delicious!
