The Holiday's are over and the question is a common one: What can I make with the leftovers? Well, here is a leftover ham recipe for you. Pretzel Bun Sliders With Leftover Ham will help you use up that leftover ham. Only a few ingredients, leftover ham will come to life with the salt of the pretzel bun and the tang of the dressing. Delicious!

If you serve ham at holiday meals, you know there is almost always leftovers. Sure, eating the leftover ham with leftover potatoes is just fine. However, sometimes you want to spice it up a bit.

These pretzel bun sliders with leftover ham is just the leftover ticket. The flavored ham combines with the slight salty of the bun and should we mention the dressing?

    The dressing

Yes, we should mention the dressing. The dressing is a little something I like to call YUM! Panera Bread Fuji Apple Salad Dressing is wonderful on salads, but let me tell you, it is tasty on this ham sandwich!

I was able to pick up this salad dressing at my local grocery store but I did some looking for you and it can be bought at Panera stores, on their website, at Walmart and Meijer's. You can also pick it up on Amazon.

Apples and pork products just go together so the Fuji Apple dressing is the zing this sandwich needs. So, so good. Actually, to quote my daughter, "Mom, this sandwich is phenomenal".

    The cheese

The cheese used for this leftover recipe is provolone. Provolone cheese melts well and adds a depth of flavor to anything it is put on.

Provolone and mozzarella have some similarities but provolone has a much stronger flavor than mozzarella.

    The ingredients

leftover ham, pretzel buns and cheese and dressing on a cooking pan.

The only ingredients you need are:

    • Pretzel buns
    • Provolone cheese
    • Fuji Apple Dressing
    • Leftover ham

    Preparing the sandwiches

    ham on buns.

First put the ham on the uncooked buns.

Then, pour the dressing and place the cheese on top. Place the other bun on top to make a sandwich.

    Bake

ham and cheese on the oven.

Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes, until cheese is completely melted. It is a great and quick way to use up the leftover ham!

    Variations

A different type of cheese can be used, such as Cheddar or Colby Jack.

If you have leftover turkey, this sandwich would work great with turkey as well!
