We don't drink alcohol over at our home. It is a personal decision for us based on our faith, our children and our responsibilities. However, that doesn't mean one can't come up with great easy non-alcoholic party drink recipes.
I have a few drink recipes that are not only kid friendly but easy to make. Some are punches. Some involve sherbet. So yum.
3 Ingredient Strawberry Punch with lemonade and ginger ale is a simple yet satisfying non-alcoholic drink recipe that you can whip up in a hurry. Last minute guests? This is the punch for you. Using frozen strawberries keeps the drink cold for quite a while!
So this strawberry punch recipe has 3 ingredients as well. 3 ingredient strawberry orange creamsicle punch looks so impressive for any age crowd. Of course, the kids are a bit "wowed" by the frothiness of the punch. It's almost like the Orange Julius of yesteryear.
3 Ingredient Orange Vanilla Frosty isn't a punch recipe but it is a drink recipe your family will enjoy. Use a blender or magic bullet to mix up this drink. I had someone come up to me after trying this drink recipe for a family gathering and told me how much it was appreciated and enjoyed.
Music to a food blogger's heart. :-)
Orange Juice is the theme for the non-alcoholic party drink recipes
Apparently, orange juice is a common ingredient around here for the party drink recipes.
Holiday Orange Juice Punch with orange juice and ginger ale just pops with color. Basic. Simple. Delicious.
Want to make your home smell wonderful? How about impressing your friends and family with this Slow Cooker Spiced Apple Cider? It smells like cinnamon and orange while it is warming in the crock pot. Keep it on low and serve it throughout the day. Warm and perfect for a cold winter night. Here is an easy to view video for you!
Items used when making these party drinks
I would recommend having a blender on hand. Using a Magic Bullet works well too, however, it does make smaller quantities.
Having a punch bowl is a must. You can buy one new, I think this one is fun and unique or maybe your family has a punch bowl that used to be your grandma's. Punch bowls just seem to be something that is tucked away in heirloom boxes. Ask me how I know. :-)
You can use a slow cooker or a large pot for the apple cider. I recommend a slow cooker like this one so you can put it on and walk away. However, if you are in a time crunch, a large pot will work too. Many people like the digital crock pots. Me? I'm an old fashioned gal and I like the manual ones with the dial.
Having a travel crock pot with a top that fastens down is quite handy when you take the cider to a gathering. The locking feature is perfect for travel so the drink doesn't slosh around, over and out!
Let me know if you try any of these punch recipes. They are a favorite around here and received 5 stars from my family. If you try any of my recipes, please come back and rate them. I would love to know your opinion!
