A delicious ice treat packed full of flavor and can be turned into a great punch for parties or the Holidays! Easy Cranberry Slush will be a family favorite!
When it is 90 degrees what is better to cool off with then with a slush. What is even better is an Easy Cranberry Slush you can make at home with very little effort.
It also helps it is packed full of flavor.
Not a cranberry fan, will I like this?
Well, I guess I don't know that, but considering it is made with all of these great flavors, I do believe it is worth a shot.
The mix of cherry, pineapple, orange juice and 7-UP blend perfectly with the cranberry to make a great tasting and delicious ice slush treat.
Can I use other flavors or add more or less of my favorite?
Yes, you can! Raspberry Jell-O would be great in this as would strawberry. If you would rather use more orange juice but less pineapple juice, go for it!
How can I use this easy cranberry slush in a drink?
You can just eat this ice as is or you can pour a little 7-UP over the top and drink it with a straw or eat it with a spoon. You could also take the frozen cranberry slush, thaw it slightly the put it in a punch bowl with 7-UP or ginger ale.
How to make this summertime recipe
This simple family friendly recipe is so easy, you may just put the Kiddos on it. The only help they may need is for the boiling water for the Jell-O.
Mix all the ingredients in a large container or bowl. I mixed the ingredients in a bowl for you, but I would recommend just using the container you are going to freeze it in. Less dishes. ;-)
Then take boiling water and add it to the Jell-O mix. Mix well and let the Jell-O dissolve, about 2 minutes. Add the Jell-O to the liquid ingredients and stir well.
Freeze for a long time. It takes about 24 hours for full slush, though if you want it a little softer, check on it through out the day for your desired slush consistency.
This recipe is great in the summer to cool off but also would be great for parties and gatherings and of course a Christmas time punch. Delicious!
