You want a piece of this Cinnamon Apple Streusel Bread, don't you? You can make it--doesn't take much time of prep work. The only problem? It does disappear quickly. It's that good.
My children desperately wanted me to make something delicious and yummy for their school lunches. Unfortunately, this cinnamon apple streusel bread was eaten in, um, about 3 hours with only a little sliver left.
Yup, this sweet bread recipe didn't even make it through the night, let alone to the school lunch boxes. I guess I need to make more next time. ;-)
It has all the ingredients of deliciousness to help it reach "must eat" and "Mom, you're the best" status. My mistake was I should have hid it and saved it for later. Of course, I did text my son at school and showed him a picture of it. Was that nice of me? Not really, but he had forgotten something he needed for school and asked me to take it to him.
I figured it was fair game.
In case you are wondering, yes, I stopped what I was doing and took him what he needed. Do I do that all the time? No. On occasion? Yes.
Cinnamon Apple Streusel Bread
This bread recipe can have as many apples as you would like. As you can see, I didn't add a lot of apples for a reason. One reason is because my husband doesn't like a lot of apples in his bread. If you want an apple laced bread, feel free to add another cup (or two!). It is delicious either way.
