Grape Black Cherry Fizz is a quick 3 ingredient recipe perfect for guests, a mom's night out or for the family. Flavorful drink and most importantly, non-alcoholic. A great pop of flavor and can be made quickly and easily.
The best recipes are made by accident and/or necessity. The kids were having ice cream sundaes with their dad for Father's Day and since I can't have ice cream (can't have dairy), I didn't want to be left out of a treat.
I had black cherry sorbet and a plan. Well, kind of. Anyway, plan or not this grape black cherry fizz was born.
And all of a sudden, my drink was more popular than the sundaes. The grass is always greener, ya know.
They ate all their sundaes and I enjoyed my new found drink. With three ingredients it was a cinch to make.
I don't know if you have a Magic Bullet type blender, but we do and it is perfect for one portion smoothies, drinks, etc. (It is also great for salad dressings.)
Ingredients
So what you see is what you get. This recipe is so easy with simple ingredients. The black cherry and the grape juice concentrate compliment each other so well.
Ginger ale is a classic ingredient in drinks and it does fit nicely with this one. Adds the "fizz" in the name, if you will.
Not all drinks need that zip of ginger ale, like this black cherry slush. It's base is almond milk.
That is all there is to this kid friendly non-alcoholic drink recipe. This is a great non-alcoholic drink recipe too: Non Alcoholic Strawberry Lime Punch or Non-Alcoholic Bomb Pop Drink.
You simply add all the ingredients to the blender or Magic Bullet, mix it up and enjoy. You could certainly add crushed ice to the mix as well.
Tips and Tricks
If you have extra drink made up and you don't want to toss it, and trust me you won't, be sure to pop it into the freezer for a few hours. The result? Flavorful ice/slush that is so good, you will want to make up another batch. Delish!
This makes about 4 cups.
Yes, you can! Lime would taste great as would raspberry flavored sorbet.
