Falling leaves, cooler weather and all things apple are the highlights of fall. This Apple Cider Punch is only 4 ingredients and is perfect for a fall party or bonfire. Sweet tasting punch will be the enjoyed by all!
Fall drinks can be warm (like this apple cider float) or cold like this Apple Cider Punch. It depends on the seasonal temperatures or your party/activitity!
Sitting by the campfire might call for warm slow cooker spiced apple cider. However, if you are having a fall party or a birthday party, the perfect drink should be this Apple Cider Punch.
With only 4 ingredients, it can come together so quickly you won't have to worry about what your guests are going to have to drink.

Ingredients
- apple cider - ½ gallon of your favorite type of apple cider
- ginger ale - regular or zero sugar
- orange juice - fresh or from concentrate
- cinnamon - I prefer a cinnamon stick
- orange and apple pieces - optional, they are for extra flavor and look delicious floating in the punch.
The ingredients are simple and can be adjusted according to your taste. If you want a little more orange flavor, add a little more orange juice. If you want a little more bubbly, add a little more ginger ale.
Completely up to you.
The difference between apple juice and apple cider
Apple juice and apple cider have a few differences. Apple juice is filtered and can have added sugar to it. The juice also is clearer because of the filtration.
Apple cider is not filtered, nor is it commonly pasteurized. It is simply the pressed apples. I feel it also has a very strong flavor compared to the apple juice.
Using a punch bowl
A bunch bowl is not necessary to make this apple cider punch, but it does make the drink pop, especially if you add the apple and orange pieces/slices.
I have a punch bowl that belonged to my grandmother. It is special to me and I enjoy using it. It seems like punch bowls are passed on through the generation.
However, you can get a punch bowl anywhere. This punch bowl is pretty. If you want a more unique one, here is a stainless steel punch bowl.
These drink dispensers are also a good choice as they can have lids on them so they would be great for outdoors.
Adding the ingredients
Simply add the apple cider, orange juice and ginger ale in a large punch bowl or drink dispenser.
Then add the apple pieces and orange slices. Completely optional, but I like the look and feel they add more flavor.
Adding the cinnamon sticks
The choice to use cinnamon sticks or just cinnamon is something for you to decide. If you use a cinnamon stick, it floats around the punch and adds gradual cinnamon to the punch.
It is the preference of my household.
When you add ground cinnamon, it doesn't dissolve as well in cold drinks.
Storage
To store this fall drink recipe, place in a gallon jug with a lid and store in a refrigerator. Remember that the carbonation will go away not sealed in soda container.
Drink this punch right away or soon after making it for best results. It is delicious leftover, but it won't be as carbonated.
Apple cider punch is a great way to enjoy this fall season! Layers of apple flavor mixed with orange and cinnamon, this punch will be a hit at your fall gatherings.
