    Ingredients

    • almond bark - in the baking aisle
    • peanuts - salted
    • Rice Krispies cereal - can be store brand
    • pastel sprinkles
    • pastel M&M's - in the Easter candy section
peanuts, sprinkles in a crock pot.

    Melting the almond bark

The best part of this recipe is how all ingredients (except the M&M's) are added to the crock pot, and that is it! The crock pot melts the almond bark and that coats the other ingredients. The whole process takes about 1 ½ - 2 hours on low, depending on your crock pot.

I prefer to use a small crock pot for this recipe but a large one will certainly work as well.

    Scooping the candy

The candy will need to be scooped out on waxed or parchment paper after it is finished in the crock pot. This is when the M&M's will be added to the candy. If you add the M&M's to the crock pot, the M&M's could melt. This way they stay intact on top of the candy. The candy will harden on the counter in about 30 minutes (or less!) and the candy will be done.

    Tips

    • If you would rather have less peanuts and more Rice Krispie cereal you can.
    • The pastel candy is not necessary, it adds a fun coloring to the candy.
    • ½ cup of peanut butter can be added for another flavor.

Enjoy this fun Easter candy with your family and friends! This candy is simple to make and the crock pot does all of the work!
