Sweet and fun, this Easter Marshmallow Candy is only 4 ingredients and can be made so quickly. Perfect for Easter parties or Easter baskets, this candy is crunchy, sweet and so hard to eat just one bite!

The colors in this fun Easter Marshmallow Candy just pop! The flavors do too. After all, Easter is in spring and spring just says colors and new life. This candy will just make you smile. Your kids will love the fun flavors and colors too!

The flavored, colored marshmallows and Lucky Charms cereal is the base of this recipe along with the vanilla almond bark which holds it all together. I think it took me 5 minutes to make this simple candy recipe, however the cooling time is important and does take about 20 minutes. Using almond bark is the norm around here like in this Bunny Bark and Crock Pot Easter Candy.

    Ingredients

    • almond bark - a vanilla candy coating
    • Lucky Charms cereal
    • flavored marshmallows
    • Easter sprinkles - spring sprinkles will work
Lucky Charms box with marshmallows, almond bark and sprinkles.

Tips for melting the almond bark

    • Be sure to follow the package directions. It will be the most accurate for the package that you have.
    • The key is to start small when heating in the microwave and add more time as needed.
    • Be sure to stir the almond bark very well after each time in the microwave.
    • The bowl will be hot, so use hot pads to take it out of the microwave.

    Marshmallows

I highly recommend using the colored flavored marshmallows. The hint of flavor that is added plus the colors really set off the Easter candy and makes it more fun. However, if you can't find the flavored mini marshmallows, the white mini ones would work well too.

The Lucky Charms marshmallows, of course, are colored so that will add the color as well!

    Cooling the candy

Easter candy spread on parchment paper to dry.

This is an important step in making the Easter candy as if you don't let the almond bark set up, the candy will be in one big glob. Glob isn't the way to go with this treat. You will need parchment paper or wax paper to spread the mixture on to cool and harden. It does not take much time at all and soon you will be able to try a piece!

After hardening, the candy will be broken up into pieces.

    Storage

The candy can be kept on the counter out of direct sunlight in an container or a zipped bag. It will last 5 days to be fresh. If you keep it in the refrigerator it will last longer. Chances are though, it will be eaten before that!
