    Apple Spice Dump Cake is a simple dessert recipe for fall with only 3 ingredients! Yes, that is right! You can make this fall favorite quickly and easily and have a dessert ready to go!

    What is better than an apple dessert? How about easy and quick recipe you can make at a last minute notice for unexpected guests? This Apple Spice Dump Cake does both. It is apple delicious with only 3 ingredients. Yes, that is right, 3 ingredients and one of them is a cake mix. How lovely is that?!?

    Ingredients

    • spice cake mix - any brand will work but I used Betty Crocker
    • apple pie filling - canned
    • butter - I used margarine

    Mixing it up

    The butter will be melted and mixed with the powdered cake mix in a small bowl. that is all. Then the mixture will be spread over the apple pie filling in a greased 9x13 pan.

    Alternatives

    • A yellow cake mix can be used instead of the spice cake mix.
    • Raisins can be added if desired
    • It can be made the day before

    It will be baked at 375 degrees for 25 minutes

    What can I add for toppings?

    This can be eaten as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top. Caramel is also delicious on top of the cake.

    48 hours in the fridge is ideal. Make sure it is covered with foil or a lid.

    Equipment

    • 1 9x13 cake pan
    • 1 mixing bowl

    Ingredients

    • 32.25 oz spiced cake mix 1 box
    • ½ cup melted butter
    • 42 oz apple pie filling 2 cans

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 375℉. Grease a 9x13 cake pan with cooking spray.
    • In a bowl, mix the cake mix and melted butter.
    • Spread apples on the bottom of the cake pan.
    • Sprinkle cake mixture on top of apples evenly.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes until topping is firm and lightly golden.
    • Remove from oven and let cool. Serve. Drizzle with caramel if desired. Also can top with whipped cream or ice cream.
