Delicious and easy four ingredient Peanut Butter Candy. So simple recipe and full of sweet peanut butter. Great for kids in the kitchen cooking! Have kids home this summer? This quick snack will be perfect for grab and go snacks!
Getting kids in the kitchen at a young age is so important. Not only do they learn cooking skills, but they learn math and reading. They also learn the art of tasting and enhancing flavors. Can you tell I am for letting your children work beside you in the kitchen?
This recipe for Peanut Butter Candy is a recipe that your kids can help you make. It is only four ingredients and no baking is required. They (or you!) can mix it up, roll them into balls and they are done! Easy as can be.
Are these healthy?
No, not really. They are not like the No Bake Peanut Butter Energy Bites. The peanut butter is the main ingredient, however, there is corn syrup in them. If you want to, you could substitute real maple syrup for the corn syrup.
What do I need to make these?
All you need is a bowl and a wooden spoon. You don't need a hand or stand mixer. You will need a measuring cup and waxed paper.
How do I store it?
You can store the peanut butter candy in an air tight container. It should be refrigerated as well. After making the homemade candy, I found the best way to let them set up, is to roll them into balls then place them on waxed paper that is on a cookie sheet. You can then easily transfer the candy to the fridge.
The don't necessarily need to chill before you can eat them, I just found they keep better and hold their shape better chilled.
