I took the picture of the cheeseburger sliders. I made them and I enjoyed them with my family. Yet, I still want to reach through my screen and have one. They were that good. They were also incredibly easy to make. Easy Peasy McSqueezy.

Sorry, been around my 4 year old all day.

My family seriously enjoys King's Hawaiian Bread. I use it for various recipes and I always jump at the chance to incorporate it somehow. It has a sweet taste to it that is just delightful.

{Update: I found store brand sweet bread at Walmart. Yea!}  I made the cheeseburger sliders on a Saturday night. Please understand the significance of a structured meal on a Saturday night. Saturday night meals usually consist of popcorn, oatmeal, cheese and crackers with some fruit thrown in.

    Don't judge.

So when I had a meal ready for them that night, they were shocked and a little hesitant.

:: What could mom possibly be making on a Saturday night when she doesn't usually make anything so I bet we won't like it.

Yeah, that is kind of how it went.

They then heard it involved hamburger and the sweet rolls. They weren't as hesitant then.

    Making The Cheeseburger Sliders

    cheeseburger sliders

Simply fry up the hamburger (I used 1 ¾ lbs because I have to feed four children and two of them can out eat their father and me) and add salt, pepper, garlic salt. Add in 1 can tomato sauce and mix well. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Keeping the rolls attached to each other, slice them in half, horizontally. Place the sliced rolls in a very lightly greased pan like this one. Place the cooked hamburger on top of the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle with cheese. Delicious cheese.

    Cheeseburger Sliders

Place the top half of the rolls on top of the hamburger and cheese and spread with butter and poppy seeds.

    Cheeseburger sliders

    Bake then serve.

    Cheeseburger Sliders

Delicious and easy. The family loved them and they would be perfect for the next birthday party.
