Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream Cake with swirls of creamy peanut butter and crunchy chocolate dipped cone pieces throughout delicious vanilla ice cream will make your family excited for summertime. The flavors blend perfectly and the cool treat is perfect on a warm day.
Warm weather is here! Well, at least warmer weather. Our family loves to be outdoors to plant our garden and be down by our pond to watch the frogs and turtles. After being indoors all winter, our children are so eager to get outside. Winter is long! :-)
When warmer weather comes our way, we usually all head outdoors as a family and start cleaning up the yard. We have a rather large yard and with that comes sticks that need to be picked up and flower beds that need to be weeded. It isn't always fun to do yard work, but the rewards of strawberries and raspberries fresh from our garden usually help persuade the less than eager volunteers.
My husband stays busy as well with outdoor work that has been neglected over the winter. From painting to paving, there is always something that needs to be done.
It is fun for me to make something special for them to enjoy after being outside all day. Sometimes after a busy Saturday they will come inside and find a delicious dessert waiting for them. Such as this Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream Cake.
This ice cream cake is made with Blue Bunny® PB 'N Cones™. I love making new recipes for my family and it is especially fun using new products.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream Cake
To make this delicious Ice Cream Cake, you only need a few ingredients.
First, take wax paper and place it on the bottom of a regular loaf pan. Then place crushed pretzels on top.
You then take Blue Bunny® PB 'N Cones™ and spread it on top of the pretzels.
Add a layer of chocolate syrup, another layer of ice cream (more chocolate if you desire!) and top off with pretzels. This recipe is only three ingredients!
Put the Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream Cake in the freezer for at least 5 hours. Since you used the wax paper, simply lift the ice cream cake out of the pan. You can easily peel back the sides and slice the cake.
The Blue Bunny® PB 'N Cones™ with the peanut butter and chocolate dipped cones compliment the pretzel and chocolate syrup flavor so well. Since it is only three ingredients, it is easy to put together and it makes a great dessert. Perfect for warmer weather!
