The soft peaches combined with the fluffy light topping, so good. Then, the ultimate is when it is still a little warm and you add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The the ice cream drizzles down over the peach cobbler. Let's make this, shall we?

Ingredients
- peaches - fresh peaches work best
- cinnamon
- flour - all purpose flour
- sugar
- baking powder
- salt
- vanilla
- milk - almond milk can be used

Preparing the peaches
The peaches will need to be peeled and pitted. There are a couple of ways to go about this. The best way to lose the least amount of peach, is to bring a pot of water to a boil, then dip the peaches in the hot water for about 30 seconds. The peaches will then be taken out and placed in a bowl of ice water for 30 seconds. the peel should fall right off. (Make sure to take care with the hot water and peaches!)
The other way (and quite frankly, faster) is to just peel the peach skin off of the peach. More of the peach will come off while peeling it, but it isn't too bad. So it is up to you.
Making the cobbler
The topping for the cobbler is bread like with a sweet side to it that is scrumptious. It only has a few ingredients and can be made quickly.

The peaches will be coated with a a cinnamon, sugar and flour mixture to make sure the juices don't run too much. We want the peach juice, just not too much. The cobbler topping will be added to the peaches in the pan and baked.
Spread the topping
The topping will be spread on top of the peaches. It will cover it well and it will bake and rise up and over the peaches. So so good!
Bake
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until topping is cooked through and peaches are soft but with a bite still in it.
Alternatives
- almond milk can be used in place of regular milk
- gluten free flour can be used in place of the all purpose flour
- nutmeg can be added for a little extra flavor
- real whipping cream can be added on top instead of the ice cream
