Well, with summer coming up, I thought: how about homemade orange creamsicle popsicles? Great for the kids and deliciously homemade.
What is in the homemade orange creamsicle popsicles?
3 simple ingredients. Orange vanilla ice cream, sweet cream coffee creamer and orange juice. That is it. These homemade popsicles are so simple.
Do I need a blender to make these popsicles?
You can just put the ingredients in a bowl and mix or even use a hand mixer to make sure everything is blended well. Of course, a bowl, wooden spoon and elbow grease work great too!
The recipe is for 6 popsicles. You can find the popsicle molds at various stores and I am sure if you look around at garage sales you can find some. Here are some as well.
The kids loved these creamsicle popsicles and the will be a hit this summer. I was already told to make them a lot. Simple. Orange flavorful. Delicious.
Homemade Orange Creamsicle Popsicles
- 2 cups orange vanilla ice cream softened
- 1 cup sweet cream coffee creamer
- 1 cup orange juice no pulp
- Mix ice cream, creamer and orange juice in a blender or in a mixing bowl with a spoon
- Pour into popsicle molds and put top on molds
- Freeze for 5 hours
- Loosen popsicles from molds by running the molds under warm water for 30 seconds
- Eat and enjoy
