Delicious bread made in minutes. Have it in the oven for a quick snack or breakfast.

Pull Apart Cream Cheese Bread easy breakfast or snack recipe for your family with cinnamon, cream cheese and frosting on top

It was a spur of the moment stop at the grocery store. I had just taken Cora to our church to practice the piano for a Christmas Day duet. The piece is a little more complicated than what Cora is used to so they are getting the practicing in early. Afterwards, I thought I would run to the grocery store and pick up a few things, which included the ingredients for this pull apart cream cheese bread. I also found more hamburger on clearance. Total score.

I don't know about where you are, but in our neck of the woods, it is getting a little cooler. The stifling humid air has gone and we are all breathing fresh, cool air. While the thought of cold winter air scares me, I am looking forward to fall. I love all things fall and of course all the baking that comes with fall.

Does anyone else love turning on the oven after a summer hiatus?  Of course, I baked occasionally, but not like the fall and winter months. This bread is a great get your feet wet, er, get your spoon dirty recipe to kick off the baking season. Pull apart cream cheese bread is easy, delicious and only a few ingredients. It's made with store bought biscuits like my cobblestone muffins.

While at your trip to the store, buy the jumbo biscuits. You will only need one can. Pull each biscuit apart (or cut in half--I found it easier to just pull them apart) and dip in a cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Spread on side of each biscuit with cream cheese mixture (see below for recipe) and place the biscuits in a greased loaf pan. Easy peasy.

The overall taste was good on this breakfast, but how could it not be with the ingredients! I had about twice as much dipping cinnamon sugar as was needed. This was also extremely messy to construct trying to get the biscuits to stay upright in the pan while covered in slimy cream cheese. It took a lot of maneuvering around but it worked out. I spooned the cream cheese mix that had puddled in the bottom of the pan over the biscuits and spread more of the cinnamon sugar mixture across the top.

Glad it worked for you! I always err to the side of having too much cinnamon sugar mixture then having too little. (We do enjoy it over here!) :-)

1/4 sugar? 1/4 of what? tsp, tbsp, cup?

Sorry about that. I updated recipe cards for my whole site and am finding a few glitches. I fixed it in the recipe. It is 1/4 cup. Thanks for pointing it out to me! :-)

The picture shows a icing... don't see the recipe for it. I made the recipe but it seemed to lack something.... I think the icing would have done the trick. Instead I made the bread as part of strawberry shortcake dessert. I used the bread, added whip cream and strawberries. Very good.

It might the another culprit of the recipe card switch. :-) I will make sure and add the frosting recipe in there. The frosting does add the final touch to the recipe. I think a strawberry shortcake would be delicious with this!!
