Monster cookies have a fun variety of ingredients in them. What is great about these cookies is you can add just about any mix-in you want and it will work. If you like coconut, add coconut. If you want raisins, add raisins. I think Craisins and white chocolate chips would be great as well.

We stuck to the basics when making them and added peanut butter, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and M&M's. Yum!

    How To Make Monster Cookie

Not every one adds flour to their cookies, which I did. I think the finish product without flour falls apart easily. I would go with just a little bit of flour.

This recipe makes a lot of cookies. If you want big monster cookies, go for it; you have plenty of dough. I made some larger and some smaller. Monster cookies can live up to their name and have large cookies. Monster sized, you know. You can vary between a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop and a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop.

Experiment with the ingredients! Add your favorite mix-ins. Learn what works and what doesn't. Then have a reason to make them again!

I highly recommend parchment paper or baking mats for these cookies. I am a cooking spray girl, but these cookies stick slightly and it really is best to use the paper or mats.

    Bake

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are firm. The time will vary depending on size of cookies.
