Grilled Pizza
A crisp and smokey flavor of the crust for this grilled pizza recipe. Such a delicious recipe!

Equipment
- 1 stone
- 1 charcoal grill
Ingredients
- 1 prepared pizza crust
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 10 pepperoni slices
- 1 lb sausage cooked
- 8 oz Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
- Heat charcoal grill up to at least 300℉.
- Place stone on the grill, without the pizza to heat up, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove stone from grill, carefully, will be hot. Use grill mitts.
- Spread cornmeal on top of stone.
- Spread prepared pizza dough on stone. It may be best to roll out pizza dough on the counter on waxed paper, then transfer over to the stone.
- Spread pizza sauce, toppings and cheese on the pizza crust.
- Using grill gloves or mitts, carefully place stone on top of hot grill.
- Grill for 10-14 minutes or until crust is baked and cheese is melted. The time will depend on the temperature of your grill.
- Remove from grill carefully and slice. Serve.
Notes
- Can use any pizza toppings you prefer.
- Grill temperature and times greatly vary depending on grill and weather conditions.
- Grills get hot. Always use proper grilling gear.
