Ingredients
- 1 lb bag split peas
- ½ cup purple onion chopped
- ½ cup carrots chopped
- 2 cups cooked ham chopped
- 2 celery stalks
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Add peas, onion, carrots, ham, celery, broth and water to crock pot
- Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8
- Serve with crackers and/or shredded cheese
- **Note: you can use any combination of chicken broth/water. So you could use 2 cups of broth and 4 cups of water. It just needs to add up to 6 cups liquid.**
