Equipment

1 Bread Machine

Ingredients

1 egg
1 cup water + 5 Tablespoons, warmed to 80°
¼ cup oil
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoon salt
4 cups flour all purpose or bread flour
2 teaspoon active dry yeast

Instructions

Place all ingredients, in the order listed, in the bread machine.
Set the bread machine to dough.
After the bread machine is done, remove from machine.
Grease a 9x13 pan.
Lightly grease your hands and shape the dough into balls.
Place on the greased pan.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. While the oven is preheating, let the rolls rise. They can rise 10 minutes up to 1 hour.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until done.
Brush with melted butter if desired.

Notes

If you have time to let your rolls rise for 1 hour before baking, don't turn your oven on for an hour. Just set them in a warm place, covered for an hour. If you want to have your rolls rise while the oven is preheating, just set them on the stovetop while the oven is preheating. Then bake.
