Ingredients

apples
peeled and sliced

brown sugar

white sugar

teaspoon
cinnamon

teaspoon
nutmeg
optional
For the topping
1
cup
white sugar
1
cup
all purpose flour
1
teaspoon
baking powder
¼
teaspoon
salt
1
egg
½
cup
butter
or margarine, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*
Take peeled and sliced apples and arrange them in the bottom of a 9x13 pan that is lightly greased. Set aside
Mix together brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg (if you want the nutmeg)
Sprinkle over apples, not mixing it into the apples, just sprinkling it on top
Mix in a medium bowl, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg. Mix well. Crumble mixture over top of cinnamon covered apples
Take the melted butter and drizzle it on top of crumble layer
Bake at 350* for 45-60 minutes. Crumble is down when apple mixture is bubbly and topping is a golden brown
Remove from oven and let cool so it can set. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
