How is your week ahead looking? Are you trying to come up with some supper recipes for your family during this busy Thanksgiving week? I understand. While trying to plan our meals, I realized I do not want hard recipes to make as Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I want simple, filling and delicious meals preparing us for the yummy meals to come.
Oh, turkey, I am waiting.
The meals on this week’s supper recipes for your family is perfect. Fish tacos, soup, baked potatoes so easy to make yet delicious and filling. The recipe for the cinnamon brown sugar bread is an absolute favorite of ours. So easy to make with or without a bread machine. You can substitute the brown sugar and cinnamon with honey and cinnamon if you want to. The honey is a little healthier option but the brown sugar is, well, brown sugar. 😉

I am going to start sharing my weekly shopping trips with you. We have really been working to curb our grocery budget. It isn’t easy feeding a family of six with growing teenage children (and others) but it is a goal I set for myself and I want to reach it!
So many meal plans shown on the internet state they can feed their family of 4 (which includes two little ones) for less than $30 a week! Well, that is good and fine, but when you have a growing hungry 15 year old boy and an almost 12 year old girl (and others) $30 a week isn’t going to happen. Unless we eat lettuce all week and nothing else. We are a family who likes meat and that is pretty much all there is to it. Making meal plans like this one out, helps so much to keep costs down. (For suppers and for lunches.) So follow along as I tackle our food budget and I want to hear about yours!
