Simple is where it is at.
I’m sticking with that simple theme in my cooking and baking. And this simple fruit salad filled that requirement perfectly. Doesn’t it look impressive? Doesn’t it look like I made some extra special sauce? No I really didn’t.
Oh, the raves I received.
“Mom! What is that?” and “That looks so good!” combined with “Can I try a bite?”
Excited over fruit. Love it.
With winter just ending, our fruit choices are limited. However, strawberries are coming back into season and the rest of the fruit I added were grapes and apples. Topping? Vanilla yogurt. Yes, that’s it. Sounds too simple doesn’t it? I mix fruit and yogurt all the time. However, I never make a big bowl of mixed fruit and then add some yogurt to it. It looked impressive and the family gobbled it up.
Reminder: Don’t get too complicated with your menus. Sometimes the simplest ways are the most appreciated.
