She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, she is business savvy. She does what she can to provide for her family. I have been a stay at home mom now for over 12 years. It is my job to take care of my family. However, it is nice to bring in some extra money to help the family. So, have you ever wondered how you could make a little extra money working from home? I'm not going to reinvent the wheel here; I am going to link to other sites that explain it much better than I could. (They also have much more experience!) Something I am going to say: don't get so caught up in making an extra dollar for your family that you lose your family. Your children would much rather have YOU around than an extra few dollars for that video game or Lego set.
Be wise in your working, smart in your care for your family. Above all, ask your husband's opinion. He may not want you to bring in that extra dollar or two and just want you to work hard at raising his children. Come to an agreement between the two of you. Actually, three of you. Don't forget to PRAY about it and see what the Lord urges you do to.
I work hard at this blog. I get up early and sometimes work late. (Okay, late for me!) ;-) I have failed in working on it too much in those beginning days when I was struggling to learn how to even BEGIN to succeed. I'm far from being what the world would call successful, except this blog has taught me time management like never before. I have also learned new skills, stepped FAR out of my comfort zone and learned my computer wouldn't implode if I work on it. I am grateful for it and what I have learned.
Everyday, I have to balance my family, work and most importantly, never lose time for God. ALWAYS put God first and consider your husband's feelings. The rest will fall into place. :-)
