Well, I made it through the whole 31 days. I have to admit, I didn’t get a post up every day, though there are 31 posts. Most days I did. Pretty pleased with that. ;-)
I can honestly say I enjoyed it tremendously. It was a great challenge and a great reminder of the truths of this passage. I don’t have it all together; I certainly don’t know everything about homemaking. However, I found new ways I want to challenge myself and things I really need to improve on. I have improved my graphic art skills through this, providing all of you with printables here and here. (Hope you enjoy them!) I have improved my writing skills (I think!) and am more confident moving forward with this blog. (Which is a really good thing for me!)
I hope all of you have felt challenged through these 31 days. I want women to realize no matter their stage in life, no matter their working status, if you live in a home, you keep it. You are the homemaker. Homemaking has such a negative feel to it these days and it shouldn’t! When you are cleaning, improving, decorating your home, caring for your family and caring for your husband you are making your house a home.
How can YOU support your husband? How can YOU tend to your family? How can YOU keep your house? That, my friends, is the Homemaking Challenge.
I am eager to share it with you! I am going to iron out some details and will share it with you next week.
Thanks for reading the last 31 days. This challenge has been a blessing to me and I hope it was to you as well!
