Merry Christmas And A Happy and Blessed New Year!
It is almost taboo to say this phrase anymore, but Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. December 25th is a day we celebrate Christ, the Babe born in a stable. The Christ who came to save us from our sins.
I’m not ashamed to speak the truth of the gospel nor am I afraid to say Merry Christmas. Jesus Christ came to earth to save me from my sins, as my children say, the bad stuff we do.
We all do “bad stuff”. We all fall short of God’s perfection and glory. We can be made whole again, that is through God’s Son, Jesus. It may sound like a fairy tale. There may be too much evil in the world for you to see past it to the light of God.
Look at the Light. Look hard. There was a man named Jesus. No one denies that. He had a ministry. He told people He is the Son of God. Our calendar is based on the man named Jesus, so He must be rather important, wouldn’t you agree?
You may be afraid to believe. You may want to follow in your family’s footsteps of unbelief. After all, you parent’s were good people and they didn’t believe, why should you?
Because you need Him. He alone can save you from your sins. He alone can guarantee your eternity. There is so much false information regarding what to believe and who to believe in. I can assure you, there is only one God. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Him.
When I say Merry Christmas to you, I mean it with my whole heart. Merry Christmas to you. Celebrate with your family, take time to remember Christ who was born so we could live. If you don’t yet believe, email me. If you want to check out a website, look up Lee Strobel, The Case For Christ. He was an atheist who went a mission to disprove Christ, and became a believer in Him instead. I also urge you to watch God’s Not Dead and God’s Not Dead 2. Excellent movies. Please watch with an open mind and heart.
Merry Christmas to my Readers. Thank you for reading Baking With Mom. Thank you for allowing me to share my beliefs with you. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
