Who doesn’t love a Kit-Kat bar? Give me a break, right? (I hope I am not the only one who remembers that!) This easy chocolate filled Kit Kat Cake was moist, delicious and a great dessert for your family.
Just curious, how many of you have the Kit Kat jingle running through your head? Yeah, me too. You’re welcome. 😉
This Easy Chocolate Filled Kit Kat Cake was a quick last minute dessert. You know what my family said to me? They said they are so used to having baked goods around the house, they don’t know what to do when there isn’t any.
I guess that is a trial of the family of a food blogger. My trial is always making sure there is something yummy on hand. Which is one of the reasons I made this cake. I know I have mentioned it before, but they love my blogging job.
Easy Chocolate Filled Kit Kat Cake starts with a boxed cake mix. The chocolate gets inside the cake the same way you would make a Jell-O cake. You take a big wooden spoon and poke holes in the cooled baked cake. Then just pour the chocolate ice cream topping over the holes in the cake. You can also use caramel or butterscotch topping.
I say this all the time, but you don’t have to have complicated recipes for them to be good. Let me tell you this:
Busy Family of Six
By the time the day gets done today, our car will have left the house 8 times. Our oldest has a cross country meet, a marching band competition and our daughter is at a birthday party. Sounds not too bad, right? Well when you figure in drop off, pick up, pick up, drop off and a few other errands, our day has been nothing but driving. I don’t have time to make a complicated dessert. I have time to make this easy chocolate Kit Kat cake.
Creme Brulee will have to wait for another day.
