Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Caramel Popcorn

Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Caramel Popcorn truly has the taste of a chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream cone. It is drizzled with chocolate and adds the perfection of sweet and salty. Oh, you will be the talk of the classroom parties. 

This Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Caramel Popcorn was made with leftover ingredients. I had chocolate almond bark and vanilla almond bark in my cabinet for, ahem, forever. There was not enough for the chocolate or vanilla to be used individually in a recipe but the perfect amount for them to join hands and work together.

Teamwork. There's no "I" in team ya know.

We love almond bark popcorn. I could eat an embarrassing amount. It only takes a few minutes to make and it is so delicious.

The same idea for this popcorn. Perfect for those mom moments "Mom! I need a snack for youth group. Forgot to tell you and I leave in an hour".  If you think your child will never do that to you, sorry, it shall happen. It shall.

Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Caramel Popcorn

You only need popcorn, chocolate and vanilla almond bark and caramel bits. You can use caramel squares from Kraft, but I like the little bits they now make. So simple and you don't have to unwrap anything.

Melt the chocolate and vanilla in the microwave and melt the caramel with a little milk (I used almond milk). Now, pour the mixture over the popped popcorn (which is spread on waxed paper). Let cool and done!

Use this popcorn as a teacher's gift, to take to a neighbor's house or to use for the above mentioned last minute snack idea. This popcorn mix is hard stay out of, so don't be surprised if you find yourself snacking on a piece or two. Or three. ;-)

Ingredients

• 3 cubes vanilla almond bark
• 3 cubes chocolate almond bark
• 1 cup caramel bits
• 1 package microwave popcorn

Instructions

• Melt chocolate and vanilla almond bark in a microwave safe bowl for 45 seconds. Stir. Add additional 15 seconds until melted, stirring between each.
• Pour over popcorn, that is on waxed paper. Stir popcorn lightly.
• Melt caramels according to package directions.
• Pour over popcorn and stir lightly.
• Let cool and serve.
