As part of my goals for this year, I am going to try to post our weekly meal plan. Not only to show you, but also for grocery savings and to help this busy family be organized. With our crazy schedules, I need organization. Quite frankly, I like schedules, too. 🙂
When I would post our meal plans, I would receive comments on how helpful it was for the reader to decide what was going to be for their supper. My intention would be to link to and show so many different recipes so you would have so many great recipes to choose from, in one place. Gotta love simplicity!
The children are starting school again after Christmas break and that means Drama Club and Scholastic Bowl are starting up as well. Piano and basketball are on the schedules too. Oy. (Did I mention AWANA is starting again on Wednesday? Yes, I think I forgot.)
Our Weekly Meal Plan
Cereal, toast, oatmeal
(It is just Caleb and myself during the day!) PBJ, granola bars, chips, apples, oranges, bananas, macaroni and cheese
Frozen burritos for my hubby and Ryan, leftovers
We are going to Chuck E. Cheese with my sister and her children for lunch. Light supper this night! Probably oatmeal, pizza leftovers or sandwiches
Pulled pork sandwiches, apples, craisins and rice, green beans
Breakfast for supper (AWANA night-always easy meals!) Pancakes, eggs (fresh eggs from our sister in law, yum!) and fruit
Ham and beans (with Canadian bacon), cornbread, carrots
Homemade Pizza, salad, fruit
Have you tried the Rice with Apples and Crasins yet? A great twist on a classic.
