Weekly Menu Plan number 8 is up. A lot of ways to serve our family, friends and community this week!
So did you have a great snack time during the Big Game yesterday? Are you football fans? My son cheers on the Green Bay Packers and since they didn’t make it to the game, he was a lot calmer. He was off to a youth group Super Bowl party which means I made a snack for him to take.
On Saturday, our men went to the Wild Beast Feast at our church.
Since they went to a Wild Beast Feast, Cora and I went to Chick Fil A. They got beast, we got chicken. Fair deal. 😉
We also went shopping and got 75% off winter clothes at Kohl’s. Since our children are growing like a weed, we got some stuff for this year and for next. Well, they got clothes and my hubby got clothes. Me? Not so much. Maybe next time.
Anyway, a lot of food has been donated out of this house lately and there is still more to come. This week, I am making snacks for Cora’s Valentine’s Day party at school, I am making soup for a teacher’s appreciation luncheon, I am snack person for Scholastic Bowl and I want to make a meal for a friend whose husband is having surgery. I also will be making some snacks for Ryan to take on his ski trip with the youth group to Wisconsin. We are using our kitchen as a tool this week.
(Very basic because I don’t have time for anything else this week!) Oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, bananas, toast
PBJ, grapes, granola bars, chicken nuggets, mini pizzas (with extra dough I froze), apples, oranges
Chicken Noodle Casserole (plus making an extra one for a friend), salad, fruit
Breakfast for dinner: French Puffs, pancakes, eggs
Hamburger Soup, butterhorns (they make so much, we will eat them again!) corn
Taco Stuffed Shells (New recipe for us, but it involves tacos. Everything involving tacos is good!), salad, applesauce
Be sure to follow our Valentine’s Day menu for the boys in our house. Cora and I do this every year for them. Ryan will be skiing but hubby and Cade and Caleb will be here. We just planned the menu yesterday. Can’t wait!!
